Five days. One for wiring and setup. Three for oiling. So tomorrow I have to finish shaping and sanding. The temptation is to shape a lot more - especially the "Hallam carve" at the base of the guitar. I'm going to attack tomorrow with two words in mind "comfort" and "aesthetics". The lines have to compliment each other - the sweep between the horns must be parallel to the "Hallam carve". The back sweep on the arm carve has to look natural..

I'm not pleased with the shade of the walnut on the trem back plate, so may either swap it with maple, or hunt down some darker walnut. As for truss rod cover, I think you can see where I am heading... A whole school of Fernandos!
