Well - it was either that, or a fish based pun.
This week I have been cleaning up an old bass - I was given the task to "Do it up".... hmmmm.
Well, before even picking it up, I purchased a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder P Bass pickup - I know they work well in the world of Telecasters - so it should be comparable for this bad boy.
I also spend some time trying out a couple of different cleaning products for the fretboard, before realising that a razor blade is probably best for grime that could be thirty years old...
Also I had a compare and contrast between two methods of fret cleaning and polishing.... I do lead an interesting life, honestly.
