Boy oh boy,

I finally get to play what was my second ever guitar again - a 1990 Washburn KC90.

In my mind, the last of the SuperStrats, before Ibanez came in and shook the entire market to it's core.

Yes, it is a LONG LONG rambling video - I will make a shorter edit in the next few days but if you look at the description there are some pointers to where I would like to add chapters.

Japanese made, US Seymour Duncan pickups and the most beautiful and original carved body - for a bolt on Strat type guitar. Some great ideas, some misfires on this instrument, but without it, I wouldn't still be making or playing guitars.

Have fun and enjoy!

On my travels around the world I was in Scotland - and came across a lovely little guitar shop called Joannies in Stirling. Do visit it if you are in the area. Anyhow, long story short - I bought the cheapest instrument in stock -

Have a gander!

When I was up in Scotland on my break, I popped in to see my chum Pete, who I made the Rastacaster for.

It needed a tune up - but I didn't have a single tool with me! It got me thinking - what would I put in an emergency guitar maintainance kit?

Do let me know what is missing and what I don't really need!
